Up in the Air! Is it a bird? Is it a plane?

Yes! It's our paper airplane experiment!

In order for students to get a better grasp of the SCIENTIFIC METHOD, we flew some paper airplanes. Our Problem is "We want to find our which kind of paper will be the best for a paper airplane (the plane will fly the farthest)." Students were put into five groups and assigned a certain type of paper. The paper we used were: tissue, poster, construction, cardstock, & butcher. We all made the planes the exact same way (because the only difference was to be the type of paper). Then we flew them and measured!
